We at Modis are looking for an Electronic HW Engineer for an exciting role at a world leading, international customer.
About the role
In this role you will work with the electronic components crisis team to assess and verify replacement components. You will work proactively with obsolescence parts and drive small development projects towards suppliers.
Besides that, you will
* Have life cycle responsibility.
* Collaborate with cross functional teams.
* Secure and support implementation of HW components in the end products.
* Put requirements on the components towards the supplier
* Have the operational responsibility in the relationship with the supplier.
* Responsible for recommending the supplier.
* Evaluate new components and select the internal component.
* Secure cross-functional and business anchoring.
* Manage complex components and/or large set of less complex components
About you
If you are a passionate team player with the drive to deliver great results, you will fit perfectly for this role.
We believe that you have an Electrical/Electronic engineering degree with a few years ' experience, excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude. It is a plus if you have experience from the automotive industry.
You should also have knowledge in
* Silicon Expert and life cycle analysis
* Catia and Windchill
* Electronic components like display control modules and electronic control units
We put strong emphasis on personal qualities and we believe you are structured and organized with strong analytical skills and a curious mind.
Fluency in English, written and oral, is a requirement and Swedish is beneficial.
