Description:
Are you a person with a passion for electronic engineering? Would you like to apply your skills to create truly differentiating technology for our clients within the commercial vehicle segment? We design and produce embedded electronics ranging from encapsulated circuit boards to advanced moving precision mechanics including state-of-the-art sensors and electronics. Developing here means that you will be developing electronic designs used in harsh environments on land and at sea. Here you will participate and follow products throughout their complete lifecycle starting from concept, design, industrialization, startup of production, maintenance and quality related issues.
Responsibilities:
You will be part of our skilled hardware development team with focus on mechanical and electronic engineering. As an electronic engineer, you will be in contact with all parts of the company and all technologies. You will participate in and drive activities such as requirement specification, prototyping, detailed design, documentation, certification, transfer of designs to production and validation. To generate ideas and to deliver the right products on time, tight collaboration is needed within and between our project teams. You will also be responsible for driving competence development and sharing of knowledge within your area of expertise.
Required skills:
We recruit for attitude and train for skills. With this being a more senior position, you are however probably already an experienced electronic engineer with a product development background.
Your experience and passion for electronic engineering allows you to define, solve and implement technical solutions relating to feasibility, development, continuous improvements, production and product support. You have a good understanding of embedded electronics including automotive MCU, digital and analogue circuits as well as power electronics. If you do not have all prereqs in place, please convince us about your potential to acquire the skills and be prepared to back up your statements with previous achievements.
As a person, you are a team player with strong personal commitment and a will to share responsibilities. You constantly challenge assumptions and strive to improve everything you do. You have the courage to respectfully disagree and are prepared to back up your position with evidence. Your educational background is most likely a Master or Bachelor of Science in electronic engineering or similar. You have no trouble working in both English and Swedish environments.
Desired skills:
We rely a lot on Cadance Orcad Capture CIS and PCB editor for design and documentation. You have experience of electronic CAD tools for schematic and layout, good knowledge of dimensioning electronics circuits including worst case and tolerance analysis and documentation of the work. You are familiar with simulation of electronic circuits using Pspice. We also perform a lot of hands on prototyping and verification and you see this as a natural part of the design work. Knowledge in these areas is an advantage but if you're an engineer and smart, we expect you to be able to learn and keep up with new technologies, materials and techniques.
If you have been working for some time with product development, you probably also know quite a bit about the product development process including requirement management, prototyping, design, documentation, environmental testing using certified test houses, transfer of designs to production and validation.
