About the role
In the role of Electronic Designer at Matthew's Marking Systems, you will be involved in the process of bringing new printers for industrial use to the market, developing new electronic components as well as fixing and improving existing solutions. You will design and develop circuit boards as well as component selection, testing, measuring and verifying electronic components and systems.
You will be part of a small team of engineers working in an international context. The current team consists of eight mechanical designers, software developers, testers and technical documentation specialists, and will soon grow to about 12 people. It is an experienced team that is passionate about technology and like to have a good time together.
As the only Electronic Designer in place, you have to be able to work independently, while also being good at communicating with your team and passing on information to product owners, buyers and managers in the US.

Micro processing, ARM/STM32/i.MX
Measuring, testing, verification, troubleshooting
Being able to manage an oscilloscope, spectrum analyser, multimeter

Matthews Marking Systems is a company that develop, produce and market printers for industrial marking as well as conduct research on behalf of the American parent company. Their clients are resellers and end customers all over the world, for example within manufacturing, packaging and the food industry. Matthews Marking System's devoted and innovative employees are inherent to the company's values and success.
They are a self-sufficient organisation, where production, development and sales departments are all under the same roof. The office has a total of 65 employees with a yearly turnover of 280 million SEK, growing more for every year. The company is owned by Matthews International, Pittsburgh US.
