Your challenge
Here with us at Avalon you will find yourself as a member and contributor in our in-house cross-functional project teams as well as someone that helps our customers on site, and you will be thrilled by the mix. At Avalon we work in many different areas so you will be challenged by everything from small power optimised systems, communication systems, lifesaving products to rapid prototypes for a proof of concept. You daily work will span from design to PCB layout and decisions around requirements for the project, and you will definitely be involved in discussions with vendors and suppliers to get the right level of quality from them to you project.

Well, who are we to tell you, but the people that work here are like:
Some are coders, some are designers, but we all love what we do. Some are makers that create fun and awesome projects in their spare time and happily discuss and share their ideas with their colleagues, or invite them to help build stuff. Some are parents focusing both on their children and their projects. Some are quite new citizens in Sweden and some moved to Stockholm from all parts of our country. What we have in common is that we love technology and dive deep into customer projects and share our knowledge with each other. We all share a passion for what we do and the quality of what we create. So if you are passionate like us, you will have a great time with us at Avalon.
What do we think that you bring with you?
You have at least 5 years of experience in electronic development
You have worked with power optimised designs.
You have worked with prototype creation to early verify needs and know your ways around the lab.
You have experience some CAD tools and preferably Altium
A university degree in a relevant field.
A big plus for this role is if you have some skills in VHDL or Verilog or might have some experience of ATEX classed products.
