We are now looking for an experienced and hands on Electronic Design Engineer to join our Team in Gothenburg. If you want to work with exciting technology aimed for harsh environment for instance explosive and marine environments, where power consumption is crucial and robustness is essential due to long life span; work with helpful colleagues locally and worldwide in a company where we also offer good career development opportunities, then this is the job for you.
As an Electronic Design Engineer, you will work in a team with designing and maintaining the modules used in the Fire and Gas systems. All designs are made in Altium Designer and production documentations is stored in ARAS (a PLM/PDM system). You will be following a design project from the beginning to the end, through prototyping, testing (EMC etc.), certification and industrialization. Our daily work at R&D department, including your team, is organized according to SAFe. You will report directly to the R&D manager.
Who are you?
You have obtained a BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
You are structured, organized and rigorous with the ability to take a balanced approach.
You have a genuine interest in technology, a good communication ability and you like to work in an innovative environment with variation in your tasks. Furthermore, you have a proactive mindset, are a solution-oriented, analytical problem solver with the ability to contribute to a good team environment.
Experience of the following technologies and tools is considered a plus: Ex design, Design for Manufacturing, EMC, Altium, ARAS, low power, analog and digital design.
