THE POSITION
As Electromagnetic engineer with focus on electric and magnetic phenomena associated with MCTs, multi-cable transits, you will join our Product Development and Engineering team and work closely together with electromagnetics specialists, product and design engineers and test technicians. The role combines development, evaluation and testing of the performance of Roxtec solutions regarding electromagnetic properties. As Roxtec provides solutions protecting against multiple hazards, the work also includes various testing of water, gas and fire properties. The work will include verification of tomorrow's new product performance as well as of existing solutions to ensure long-term functionality.
In the role as Electromagnetic engineer with focus on electromagnetics in the PD&E team, you will:
• Plan and lead product tests, both within the internal laboratory and at external laboratories
• Perform different electric and magnetic tests in cooperation with a team consisting of electromagnetics specialists and test technicians
• Act as a technical resource in development projects
• Identify needs of today and for the future
• Evaluate products and their test results, suggest product improvements
• Support our organization with technical knowledge and expertise
• Evaluate test techniques, analyze new techniques and methods
• Actively work for improvement of the electromagnetic laboratory
The position belongs to Electromagnetics which is a part of the Product Development and Engineering department.
Within PD&E, there are several engineering disciplines gathered so we benefit from a lot of cross-functional knowledge. For us, it is as important to understand why things works, as when they do not.
QUALIFICATIONS
We believe that you have relevant work experience related to electric and magnetic or EMC product testing in some sense. Product knowledge of Roxtec products is a big advantage.
We pay great attention to your personal features and to your broad technical experience. You enjoy teamwork in close cooperation with others, in Karlskrona but also with personnel at our different subsidiaries around the world. You also have a strong will when it comes to solving problems and responding to questions that may occur.
Requirements are minimum a university degree in electronics or equivalent knowledge and preferably experience from the electric and magnetic field.
You have a driver's license level B.
You manage English, spoken as well as written.

The post of employment is at the headquarters in Karlskrona and business travel is included in the role.
