hela Sverige Granode Materials is developing and commercializing an anode material for lithium- ion batteries. By changing the charge carrier to a mix of graphene, nano silicon and binders, our anode material can increase storage capacity dramatically.
We now need to strengthen our development team.
In this position you need: A strong foundation in materials science and chemistry, electrochemistry, surface chemistry, materials structure, and both inorganic & organic chemistry fundamentals. Has been involved in a full cycle battery development process from A to market. Comfortable and well-versed working with OEM or battery cell supplier development processes. Know-how in cell development and active materials electrochemical cell chemistry, with the ability to give direct feed-back from the analyzed data to the materials development optimization units. Direct communication member with the raw materials and active materials supplier and experienced in silicon/graphite composite anode characterization.
Comfortable in cell development (from pouch to small cell ensuring they meet the functional standards for performance and long-term testing and real-life validations.
MS degree in electrochemistry, chemistry, or materials science (Ph.D. can be meritorious).
At least few years of experience in materials development and engineering.
Experienced with materials analysis and characterization techniques, including electron microscopy, electrochemical testing (GITT, EIS, potentiostatic Ch-DisCh).
Experienced with process development and optimization for product manufacturing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
