The client is designing, manufacturing, installing, commissioning, and providing aftermarket service for a wide variety of drilling systems and equipment.
To the office in South Norway, Kristiansand we are now looking for Electro & Instrument Engineers to join the team.
The department of Electro / Instrumentation is responsible for the development and maintenance of control systems / instrumentation of drilling machines. The group is responsible for coordinating the electrical / instrumentation discipline on projects across locations the company, third party and the customer. The client wants to strengthen the group and therefore seeking individuals who can fill the role of electrostatic charge in projects. The candidate must be able to work independently, yet in close contact with other disciplines.
Responsibilities will primarily be:
Disability Electrical / instrumenting according NOVs guidelines.
Prepare complete drawings for production.
Design of control system for drilling applications.
Preparation, coordination and control of project specific technical documentation.
Technical clarifications to customer / agent / contractor / site.
Electric charge in ongoing projects.
Follow-up and commissioning of the equipment at home and abroad.
Supervision of suppliers and partners internally and externally.
Qualifications and skills:
We are looking for positive and motivated employees who want to move to Norway on a permanent basis. Prior experience within the oil and gas industry is not required but is an advantage. We are looking for civil engineers / engineers or qualified people within electrical / instrumentation, wishing to participate in the development of next generation systems for drilling / subsea applications. We want you to have knowledge of Simatic PLC, Autocad. Graduates are also encouraged to apply. You need to be structured, flexible and quality conscious. Good communication and interpersonal skills and good written and oral presentation in English is required. Some travelling will be required.
