hela Sverige We are on short notice seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Discipline Supervisor - Electrical Works. As a Discipline Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising construction activities assigned to third-party contractors, ensuring strict adherence to schedule, costs, quality, health, safety, and environmental protection requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and oversee all electrical installation works up to the point of energization.
• Lead and manage third-party contractors involved in electrical works.
• Ensure compliance with project schedules, budgetary constraints, and quality standards.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other disciplines and departments to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Take charge of equipotential bonding, general and emergency lighting, general services, cable containment, switchgear assembly, transformer installations, and power distribution (cabling and bus bars).
• Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental protection regulations on the construction site.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly and effectively.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team as needed.
• Prepare reports, progress updates, and documentation related to electrical works.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of proven experience in supervising electrical installation works within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of equipotential bonding, lighting systems, cable containment, switchgear assembly, transformer installations, and power distribution.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and best practices pertaining to electrical works.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Proficient in using relevant software and tools.
