hela Sverige Northvolt is right now looking for a new teammate to join our fast prototype team in Stockholm! You will work closely with our engineering functions, supporting with activities related to product design, prototyping and process development.
Our prototyping facility is located in Solna, walking distance to our Stockholm HQ. You will be part of a fast-paced team that always ensures high quality and rapid prototyping capabilities. With this we enable a short-looped product and process development cycle and cut the time to market significantly. The team includes specialists in everything from equipment building to maintenance, prototype and fabrication, enabling us to realize a quick response to changing needs.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manufacture prototype electrical components for our battery trials and tests: harnesses and electronics boards
- Mechanical & electrical prototype assembly
- In collaboration with the Quality and Engineering teams, ensure manufactured prototypes are according to standards and specifications.
- Commission and troubleshooting of in-house equipment
- Secure and set up work area, including tools, equipment, and a stock of standard components, in collaboration with the manufacturing team, to proceed to the above work
- Build own network of supply partners, with the help of our Supply Chain, to quickly secure components for prototype build

We believe that you have:
- 3+ years working experience in relevant field
- Excellent English written and oral skills
- Strong technical trouble shooting
