We need an additional Electrical PCB Layout Engineer to join our platform hardware organisation in the Design Information Hub.
Description of duties
A major part of the function is to deliver designs for hardware realisation of verification platforms in accordance with SEMC system requirements..Joining our experienced PCB designer, you will need to work closely with other teams of RF, system and mechanical engineers in different parts of the SEMC global organisation. You will take full responsibility for realising the PCB layout and creating the manufacturing data for production. You also be involved in our team evaluating and developing tool and design guideline improvements. This may lead to collaborative work with other SEMC departments, manufacturers as well as tool vendors.
Qualifications
You have a relevant education within electronics/physics and a good knowledge within the state of the art of ECAD technology. You have also a good understanding of relevant design issues like baseband, RF, power distribution, etc.. Able to design all sorts of electronics including high speed digital and advanced optics interfaces with evident experience in digital interfaces (SPI, I2C, USB, MIPI, etc..).
Preferably you have good ECAD skills in more than one of the major tools commonly used by the industry together with the knowledge of Component and Design Library issues.
Personality
Real team player that is eager to help others where appropriate, responsible, flexible, with good communication skills! Interested in learning more keeping updated with latest technology trends.
Note: English is used as the company wide language both written and spoken.
The position is based in Lund.
