Job Description:
• Ships and Offshore Installations Service and Commissioning.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting on equipment families according to customer requirements as well as quality, health, safety and environmental and cost targets.
• Proactively advice and promote available products and solutions to customers.
Responsibilities:
• Perform Field Service activities according to the work plan.
• May act as system commissioning engineer and may lead the related commissioning activities.
• May lead and manage assigned team and related activities during the work execution.
• Interact with customers during the work execution (e.g. conducting introduction meeting).
• Perform internal and external progress status of the assigned work.
• Create the Service Work Reports.
• Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsila Quality.
Qualifications:
• B.Sc or M.Sc of Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of 4-Stroke Engines Automation and Control Systems, Speed Governors, Propulsion Control Systems, Generators, Switchboards.
• Min 5 years of experience in the above mentioned area
• Good command of English in speaking and writing
• Ready to travel world-wide
• Available for overtimes and work at short notice.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both as a team player and individually
• Entrepreneur and organization skills.
• Driving license kat.B.
The position requires that you go on missions at short notice. You will be employed for the purpose of travelling. When you are away you work a lot but the benefits are that when you are not traveling you are free from work but stand by.
