hela Sverige By being a member of Xylems Electrical Engineering R&D unit in Sundbyberg you will be part of developing customized electric motors and drives to Xylems end customers. The end user of Xylems products varies but can i.e. be pumps used to transport and treat waste water or in order to keep our roads dry or for the mining industry or for pools onboard cruising ships. You will work with tasks like fundamental electromagnetic design - using software such as FLUX FEM, dimensioning of motors using internally developed software, product development projects, implementing new materials in motor design, building and testing prototypes and implementation in production. You will be working in close collaboration with your team performing among other things construction, calculations, building and testing of the motors. You will also give technical support to, mostly your colleagues internally, but every once in a while, directly to the end customer. In your everyday work you will have close collaboration with, not only your own team, but also with development units such as hydraulics, mechanics, manufacturing and purchasing.
Who are you?
In order to succeed as an Electronical Motor Design Engineer we think that you have an MSc or PhD within engineering with knowledge of motors and drives. We believe you have experience from developing electrical motors. As a person we think you are an independent worker who is able to plan and drive the development of Xylems products. You understand the importance on delivering according to expectation, on time and on quality.
