hela Sverige We are searching for a Electrical / Mechanical Designer in our dynamic Special Mission Aircraft & Regional Aircraft team. Cross-functional teams and close cooperation inspires you!
Your role
You will be part of developing and maintaining the integration and installation of the Electrical / Mechanical systems in Saab's Special Mission and Regional Aircraft.
The new development design is performed using MBD methodology (Model Based Definition), meaning everything is based on 3D models in Catia. At the same time we are responsible for maintaining and developing the fleet of active aircraft.
The Electrical /Mechanical Designer in our Team works in close cooperation together with ATA responsible, designs and solves tasks both for Projects and internal / external customers
The main tasks are:

* Cooperation with adjacent competence areas, such as Structural Design, Stress, Production and Systems Development
* Electrical / Mechanical design in Catia V5 and/or Catia V4
Your profile
In this job you need to be able to work independently or in a team, and you are expected to contribute to the positive and inspiring working environment.
Required skills:
* Minimum two years of relevant experience
* Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, design or similar - at least two years after secondary school/high school, or equivalent working experience
* Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written
* Self-motivated teamplayer
* Communicative, honest and reliable
* With an urge to attain goals

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
What you will be a part of
You will be a part of a highly committed Systems Installation team working with design of modifications on civil aircraft for Special Mission Aircraft and our active fleet of Regional Aircraft. We work with design and integration of a vast number of different aircraft systems.
Systems Installation is a team of 15 employees within the Section Aircraft Engineering in the department Special Mission Aircraft and Regional Aircraft belonging to Business Unit Aviation Services, Aeronautics.
