Position description:
The role as Electrical fault tracing engineer involves:
• Development of electrical fault tracing procedures based on diagnostic fault codes and/or fault symptoms.
• Specify fault tracing relevant diagnostic data content in diagnostic tester.
• Supervise and partly define the needed diagnostic data content for the electrical system control modules.
• Develop and commit authoring of Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
Skills and required experience:
• University degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in fault tracing.
• Long experience of working in CMS systems or equivalent.
• Good knowledge about modern vehicles.
• Experience of diagnostic concepts in modern vehicles.
• High skills in working in Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Abilities to deal with ambiguity as well as solving problems.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks at the same time and always deliver on time.
• Team player characteristics. Work is done in cooperation and coordination within the group.
• Developed social skills, since the work includes contacts with all levels within the company, customers, and suppliers in a multi-cultural environment.
• Entrepreneurial mind set always with the customer in focus.
• Excellent knowledge and skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• Driver’s license B.
