hela Sverige Join the RWE Renewables team as a Electrical Engineer supporting PV/ Wind and other renewables projects across Europe and help us shape the future of renewable energy.
Your future plans
Support projects by taking technical responsibility for the electrical balance of plant (E-BoP)
Lead design/prequalification for E-BoP aspects of wind farm, PV or battery storage projects (packages) or technical components
Develop and issue Request for Proposals (RFPs) for engineering work, evaluate the submissions and make recommendations on their selection
Support the tender, negotiation and procurement process for the E-BoP aspect of the project
Plan and coordinate internal and external resources for technical due diligence of projects, analyse simulation results, review and promote technical solutions detailing any subsequent risks and make proposals for technical and commercial decisions
Lead and coordinate interconnection processes, organise all relevant technical documentation and test reports and certification
Provide technical management of the electrical works on the project construction site, including site management of electrical engineering units
Improve the technical capabilities and processes of the Asset Engineering Electrical Teams within the Engineering function
Your profile
University degree level qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant technical or engineering discipline with relevant work experience and expertise in the electrical design, construction and operation of wind farms' main electrical components (MV and HV)
Significant experience regarding technical contract management and negotiation as well as technical claim management
Good understanding of power system analysis
Presentation, communication and report writing skills
Excellent teamworking ability and integrative skills, social competence, high level of engagement and intercultural mind set
Flexibility to travel domestic and internationally, valid driver's license and good driving record
High standard of ethical behaviour to uphold RWE Renewables' reputation and commitment to RWE Renewables' culture, core values and code of conduct
Fluent Swedish and English language skills
