DeLaval is a company of the Tetra Laval Group.
The next generation of automatic milking. The DeLaval voluntary milking system VMS is a fully automatic system for milking cows and allows cows to milk themselves. There are over 5000 units in use worldwide. It is built on a hydraulic robotic arm that is guided by an imaging system. The VMS is designed for 24/7 operation and can in its multiple execution manage herds of hundreds of cows. DeLaval is now developing the next generation of automatic milking systems, with major increases in capacity and herd sizes. Important is also animal welfare and farmers environment/lifestyle. The demands for robustness and reliability are increasing as are the challenges in the latest robotic and imaging technology that needs to be used and developed.
We are now adding further resources to our existing Research and Innovation team of engineers:
Electrical engineer.
Job summary:
• Develop components as part of a system.
• System engineering.
• From concept to complete product
• Documentation
Qualifications:
• University bachelor's degree level
• Minimum two years of relevant electronic design work and product development
• Skilled in electronic documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with people cross different functions/cultures
• Independent as well as work in teams
• Power of initiative, proven business attitude, flexible and self-confident
• Used to work towards targets and milestones.
• Preferably knowledge in Mech-CAD and programming.
• Fluent English
