About the position

The group Autonomous Vehicle Management is responsible for building, maintaining, and setting up autonomous vehicles and test rigs for internal use or external partner projects. To be able to deliver the best autonomous solution it's important to have the right vehicles and test rigs at the right time - that's why we need to expand in this area with a focus on the system setup of the autonomous vehicle.

We are looking for a vehicle engineer that thrives in the variety of tasks it takes to get an autonomous vehicle ready for the test. Working hands-on at the vehicle with everything from building an autonomous system from scratch to troubleshooting or doing system startup. All while keeping a close dialogue with the development teams to succeed in delivering the vehicle on time. This means that during the work we have a tight collaboration with the development teams, to give feedback and improvement proposals but also ideas for future functions and solutions. We work in all development phases, which requires creative solutions both practical in the vehicle but also within the organization. In this team, there are really good chances to grow in different directions within the team and develop yourself further.

A successful candidate has a technical university degree and at least a few years of experience in troubleshooting complex systems both hardware (e.g. wiring diagrams) and software. You are a team player, have a can-do attitude, and have good communication skills for all cross-functional collaboration needs.
