We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our expert Life Cycle Engineering team at the Umeå R&D department. Do you have a passion for electronics design and development? Then we would like to hear from you!
What you'll do
Design, develop, and sustain electrical systems and instrumentation. Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications, applying knowledge of electricity and materials. Includes Electromechanical subsystems.
Engaging in all phases of product care and sustaining engineering including concept, architecture documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing and service support
Ensuring reliability, performance and delivery through relationships with both internal and external manufacturing and supplier base.
Design, development, and documentation associated with ECR/ECOs for existing Bioprocess hardware offerings
Delivery of technical reports, both written and verbal, to project/product owners.
Design and documentation of test plans & outcomes
Participate in technical reviews and collaborative technical forums
Plan for and maintain required test equipment and laboratory resources

Who you Are
BSc. in Electrical Engineering, MSc preferred.
Work experience including instrumentation applications. Life Sciences applications preferred
Knowledge of product development & product/component life cycles.
Exposure to and understanding of the following: Product/System Design, Analog, digital and/or mixed signal development, Analog/digital system modeling and analysis, EMC, ESD, Grounding, and motion controls or power electronics
Experience with eCAD tools, OrCAD preferred.
Strong documentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
Work well with teams and across Global environment
Strong interpersonal skills
Fluent in Swedish and English languages (written and verbal)
