About the job
Based in Tumba, Sweden, you will become a part of the Automation Development team, which is responsible for the development of advanced control systems and IoT solutions for all Alfa Laval core products. As our new Electrical Design Engineer, you will design, maintain our Automation Systems in an Agile environment throughout the whole product lifecycle.
The main tasks will be:
* Review the Customer automation inputs.
* Understand project specification and accordingly estimate the budget hours.
* LV electrical design calculation.
* Participate in quality, peer review process.
* Coordinate the planning of the design activities.
* Cross site collaboration in our Device Competence Space.
What you know
* Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering degree
* Electrical design tools like ePlan P8 or similar
* EN60204-1, UL508a & EN 60079-1 standards
* Experience in marine approval, verification & relevant documentation.
* Designing the prototype / MVP approach will be added advantage.
* Safety calculation & LV design expertise.
* ATEX, EN 60079-1 For hazardous area zone-1, zone-2 based electrical design
* Experience with electrical engineering drawings
* Relevant experience with project work and product development. Project management is added advantage
* Fluent written and spoken English.
