Who you are
Engineering & Supply Business Unit High Speed separators is responsible for executing customer projects and protect Alfa Laval profits for Brewery, Beverage, Edible Oil, Biopharm & Industrial Fermentation and Ethanol, Starch & Sugar.
Engineering & Supply 's goal is to be a competitive project organization that delivers HSS systems that ensure optimization of each customers separation and that meet customer demands.
About the jobWith this position you will participate in the development of Automation systems related to Alfa Laval's core products. As a part of a dedicated team you will develop automation systems, design cabinets and manage small projects.
Work tasks include:
Electric design, primary tool is EPLAN
Good knowledge in the design of automation hardware such as dimensioning of cables and power components, but also various sensor signal and serial/ethernet communication.
Create all relevant documentation for: heat calculations, safety assessments, CE-marking, marine type approvals etc.
Participate in different forums with focus on electric hardware, functions and standardization
Manage small projects/activities
Who are you?We are looking for someone who is self-motivating, structured, persistent and able to work independently upon given targets. You must be good in verbal & written communication as well.
You should have a high capacity for networking/partnership and a social capability to make good connections with customers and throughout the Alfa Laval organization.
You need to have good knowledge in industrial and/or marine automation systems.
What you know
At least 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Be fluent in English.
