Randstad Digital is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer for a consultant assignment where you will develop safe and compliant fuel cell system products, focusing on electrical subsystems. This involves designing, prototyping, troubleshooting, and documenting electrical systems while collaborating with customers, external partners, and internal teams for successful integration in various applications.

Responsibilities
Developing and implementing safe, compliant electrical subsystems for new fuel cell products.
Integrating fuel cell systems into diverse customer applications (e.g., marine, aviation, stationary power).
Specifying, designing, and testing power electronics and components in close collaboration with external partners and suppliers.
Eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and managing all requirements related to the product's electrical subsystems to ensure full traceability.
Preparing and maintaining robust design documentation, including detailed schematics and technical reports, following engineering best practices.
Actively supporting cross-functional teams, including Production and Quality, to ensure a smooth transition of products from development to serial production.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of product development processes and ensuring adherence to internal procedures and relevant industry standards.
Qualifications
MSc/BSc in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or equivalent skills acquired from relevant experience and/or education.
Experience in high-voltage systems, DC power sources integration, or sectors like automotive, power industry, aviation, or marine.
Experience with harness design and electrical cabinet design, as well as E-plan software is a strong advantage.
Theoretical and practical knowledge of power electronics and high-voltage electric systems.
Proficiency with measurement tools (e.g., oscilloscope, multimeter) and 2D-CAD design software.
Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Ability to collaborate with international partners and customers.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and writing) in English.
