hela Sverige Fiedler & Lundgren would like to recruit an EHS Manager, based in Malmö, Sweden.
Fiedler & Lundgren is a member of the British American Tobacco Group, and is a market leader in snus production and innovation, making use of local organically grown tobacco grown, harvested, dried and cut in Skåne region
The purpose of the role of the Manager EHS is to drive Continuous improvements in the field of EHS through coaching and behavioral change to ensure zero Accidents and incidents and a safe work environment for all. The role is responsible for all EHS procedures, risk assessments and coordination of all safety and environmental activities, assuring compliance to all relevant standards, both local and global.
Key Deliverables and responsibilities:
• Implementation of EHS processes in compliance to BAT and local regulatory EHS standards.
• Coordinate all EHS training on site for both Employees and on-site contractors
• Manage risk assessments and safe operating procedures.
• Maintain and manage the EHS roadmap and all EHS Reporting requirements
• Manage environmental measurements as defined by statutory requirements
• Review and improve personal protective equipment.
• Support of EHS local reporting process, data collection, reporting and following up on injuries, near misses and risk observations.
• Daily coaching of employees in EHS best practice including observations
• Develop a sustainable and high-performance culture aimed at zero loss and continuous improvement
Working Relationships
• The role reports to the Area EHS Manager and has additional working relationships with others as follows
• All departments on site
• Suppliers of EHS related material.
• All on-site contractors
• Company Regional EHS teams
• Key Success Factors
• Assuring EH&S training execution for all employees and all contractors.
• Compliant with Swedish legislation and BAT standards regarding EH&S.
• No occurrence of injuries leading to sick leave.
• Drive employee understanding the importance of safety
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of environment, health and safety work.
• Knowledge of EHS Statutory reporting requirements and Legislations within Sweden
• Experience and knowledge in effectively managing work at height, contractor's safety compliance, emergency response plans management and LOTO
procedures in production environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
• Good computer skills in MS office.
