Are you ready to take your career to new heights? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced EHS Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping the safety, work environment, and environmental practices at our client in Stockholm.
As an EHS Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring a safe and sustainable workplace. You will work in a varied position that encompasses both production and laboratory environments.
This is a full-time position starting with a probationary period. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00.

Responsibilities
As an EHS Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring a safe and sustainable workplace. You will work in a varied position that encompasses both production and laboratory environments.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Proactively gathering information on recent or updated laws and regulations pertaining to the environment, work environment, and safety, ensuring strict adherence to compliance standards.
• Providing operational support in addressing EHS matters and meticulously tracking actions and findings stemming from incidents, safety inspections, risk assessments, audits, etc.
• Taking a leadership role in safety inspections and within the safety committee. Conducting thorough risk assessments and diverse work environment measurements will be integral to your responsibilities.
• Continuously and actively steering initiatives aimed at enhancing the EHS Management system. Overseeing the establishment and revision of comprehensive site-wide and local work instructions, policies, and programs.
• Establishing effective communication channels with external authorities and engaging with internal stakeholders at various organizational levels.
Qualifications
To thrive in the role of EHS Engineer at our client, we envision that you bring over 5 years of experience in the field, along with previous experience in life science or diagnostics. Additionally, we seek candidates with a background in working in a quality-controlled work environment.
Key Job Requirements:
• Hold a university degree in Engineering or Life Science.
• Accumulate 5 or more years of experience in an EHS position.
• Demonstrate experience in Life Science or Diagnostics.
• Showcase a track record in a quality-controlled workplace.
Desirable Qualifications:
• Additional valuable experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Prior engagement in laboratory or production settings.
• Familiarity with LEAN principles would be advantageous.
