Who are we?
Solution Architecture is a diverse and passionate team based in Gothenburg and part of the Portfolio Management and Electrical & Electronics Architecture organization. We explore and find solutions! To do so we work together with the cross-functional teams to translate the stakeholder needs into EE&SW embedded systems solutions.
Who are you?
* You have been in a technical leadership position, successfully demonstrating your ability to navigate through a global organization, to manage stakeholders, and to lead global engineering teams in addressing multi-dimensional problems.
* You have a good business mindset and come with your own view on how to develop the feature and service offering to support our customers. More importantly you are able see the big picture while being able to deep dive in some technical details.
* To be successful in this position you also have a solid experience in electrical, electronics and SW embedded systems preferably towards commercial vehicles. You understand the basics of a distributed system and are up to date with the latest automotive standards and technologies.
* Being familiar with the Volvo Group EE Architectures and especially TEA2+ is a merit.
What will you do?
As a Solution Leader for special applications you have a holistic view and system responsibility over this area from an electrical, electronics and SW product line perspective, with a strong focus on the bodybuilder features and solutions.
In this position you will also:
* Define the features needed for the Volvo trucks brand, interacting with internal stakeholders and directly with the customers and vehicle bodybuilder companies.
* Be a key team member of the Bodybuilder Applications Systems & Software team to establish the product roadmap and participate into the development of the solutions.
* Lead technical investigations to provide quality-secured and timely solutions for the most critical Volvo Trucks customer needs and market adaptations.
* Support the introduction of new bodybuilder features on the market and provide an expert level technical support to the aftermarket and quality & customer support organizations.
* Be a reference and go-to person in our cross-functional organization for this product area
