About the role
Are you passionate about taking the electrical and electronic systems in our vehicles to the next level? As our EE Platform Architect, you will work in close collaboration with stakeholders and focus on the future. You are responsible for leading the design and evolution of the EE architecture, both software and hardware topology-wise, as well as establishing the roadmaps capturing that evolution. Together with system architects, product owners, and other stakeholders, you will lead and coordinate to concretize the strategies and visions into concrete technical concepts. You will align the architecture evolution with technical concepts.
You are expected to plan and prepare for the technical introduction in the vehicle. That's why you will propose which changes should be introduced at which point in time.
You will anchor the changes with the development organizations and
higher management.
It's a benefit if you have a well-developed and profound system thinking and holistic view while having a good insight in major technologies present in contemporary automotive embedded systems. Can you get stakeholder managers onboard on your ideas? Great.

Requirements:
MSc in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Long practical experience in EE and software related system and product development, leadership, and strategy work.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Excellent insight and understanding of the challenges and trends in EE Architecture.
A good eye on identifying gaps, flaws, and contradictions, as well as finding solutions for them.
A natural inclination towards linking technology into product plans and implementation.
You are a people person who loves to collaborate and build relationships.
