We are now looking for an EDS Product Engineer (3D & 2D)
YOUR TEAM
The EDS (Electrical Distribution Systems) Chapter is one of five competence teams inside the E/E Hardware Engineering Tribe.
The overall responsibility of the Tribe is to secure NEVS present and future need for E/E Hardware Competence & Technology within E/E Architecture, Electrical Distribution Systems, Electronics & Electrical Energy Storage. You will be part of a creative and inspiring team that like to take on challenges and find new ways to work and improve. As part of the Chapter EDS, you will focus mainly in 3D routing and 2D drawing creation.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Have the responsibility to define and create the 3D Routing of LV&HV cable harness according to automotive & functional requirements, including packaging of EDS components.
- Have the responsibility to select required EDS dressing-components (Clips, tapes, tubes etc.,)
- Have the responsibility to define and create the 2D Wiring Harness drawings including Change management
- Be part of the EDS team to develop, integrate and validate EDS system from concept phase to industrialization and implementation in production
- Be part of BOM creation for complete EDS team
- Have ability to lead technical communication with system owner and suppliers through the complete product development phase
- Support in material development and handling for prototype builds
- Be part of prototype builds
- Be part of validation and verification against requirements
- Support functional safety engineers in the analysis of the HARA and breakdown of safety goals to safety concept and technical safety requirement.
WHO YOU ARE
- Successfully completed studies in Batchelor's degree within Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Passionate interest in new technologies and concepts with focus of autonomous vehicle
- Experience of using Siemens NX tool for 3D routing and Siemens Capital tool for 2D drawing creation
- Experience of EDS development and processes within automotive domain
- Knowledgeable of design of mechanical components
- Knowledgeable within Agile WoW
- Accustomed to write and speak in English
- Like to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues
- Can legally drive vehicle in Sweden
