When joining Tibber, you won't just help scale a forward-thinking tech company – you'll contribute to a real shift in how people consume electricity. With millions of smart devices connected to the Tibber platform (like electric vehicles and smart thermostats), we have one of the most unique energy trading portfolios on the market.
We're looking for a Ecommerce Platform Manager to join us in making the energy transition happen – maybe that's you?
Job Mission 🚀
As Ecommerce Platform Manager, you'll own the development, performance and continuous improvement of Tibber's ecommerce platform across Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands and Germany.
This role sits in the commercial team. You will work closely with commercial stakeholders, engineers, designers and external platform partners to turn customer insights, market needs and business priorities into platform improvements that create measurable impact.
You will shape what needs to be built, drive clear priorities, ensure strong platform quality and use AI to increase speed, improve execution and reduce reliance on engineering for changes that should not require full engineering capacity.
You will also manage key ecommerce platform partners, follow up service levels, delivery quality and commercial discussions.
What you'll do ✅
Own the commercial development and performance of Tibber's ecommerce platform across markets
Drive the platform roadmap with category owners, local markets, marketing, analytics, engineers and designers
Turn customer insights, market needs and performance data into clear priorities and requirements
Improve the ecommerce journey across discovery, product experience, checkout and post purchase flows
Use AI as a core part of how you work, from prototyping and automation to analysis, quality assurance and execution
Work closely with engineers, designers and external partners to ship scalable platform improvements
Manage ecommerce platform partners, including SLAs, delivery quality, roadmap dependencies and issue resolution
Build workflows that help local markets move faster with higher quality
Use data, experiments and market feedback to improve conversion, revenue, customer experience and operational efficiency
What we're looking for⚡
You have deep ecommerce experience, strong commercial judgement and the ability to turn platform needs into clear action.
We believe you'll be a great fit if you:
Have 7+ years of experience within ecommerce, preferably from consumer goods, retail, marketplace, direct to consumer or consumer technology
Understand how ecommerce platforms drive conversion, revenue, customer trust, product discovery and operational efficiency
Have strong experience with ecommerce platforms, CMS tools, customer journeys, platform logic and commercial platform improvements
Use AI tools actively in your daily work and use AI to build, automate, prototype, analyse or improve workflows
Are comfortable using data, analytics and performance insights to identify problems, prioritise improvements and measure impact
Can work closely with commercial stakeholders & engineers, and translate commercial needs into clear technical and customer experience requirements
Have experience managing external platform, technology or ecommerce partners, including delivery follow up, service levels and commercial discussions
Can balance input from local markets, category teams, engineers, designers and platform partners, and turn it into clear platform priorities that create impact
Communicate clearly in English and enjoy working across teams, markets and disciplines
We see it as a strong plus if you have:
Engineering or coding experience that helps you understand, challenge and sometimes solve technical platform problems, for example HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, frontend logic, tracking or automation
Experience with technical tools such as SQL, Python, TypeScript, GitHub, experimentation tools, automation tools or AI agents
Experience building internal tools, AI workflows, prototypes or scalable operational processes that reduce manual work and improve speed
Knowledge of SEO, site speed, accessibility, localisation or ecommerce merchandising
💆🏻♀️💆🏽♂️The Tibber Mindset
Tibber is not your typical energy supplier. Our tech helps hundreds of thousands of households lower and shift their energy consumption to more sustainable and affordable hours. We're here to accelerate the energy transition – not in theory, but in everyday life.
Being on a mission to change an industry, fundamentally also means being prepared for the unexpected. We do what others say can't be done, try and fail together but never lose sight of our users. We work passionately with sustainability and a circular approach, both with our own products and in the entire ecosystem that is affected by everything we do.
Starting out with two passionate founders in 2016, we're now 300+ people working for Tibber in our offices in Stockholm, Førde, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Oslo. We will continue to grow within our markets, and we are thrilled to be backed by investors like Balderton Capital, Eight Roads Ventures, Founders Fund, Summa, and Schibsted.
Diversity of thought fuels better products, so we welcome applicants of every background, identity and lived experience. Ready to be part of powering the energy transition? Apply below!
