Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter:
Job description
We're looking for an Eco-design specialist for Atlas Copco Tools. The main focus is to assure that we have methods, tools, processes etc in place so we can design according to a lifecycle perspective. You will also be the Atlas Copco Tools representative in standardization work within the framework of ISO/EU projects.
A big part of the job is to implement ECO design thinking in our development projects
Parallel with your mission for Atlas Copco Tools you will also work in the Industrial Technique business area to ensure alignment of concept, definitions and implementation of processes/methods in the eco-design area.
Your Responsibilities
• Drive and coordinate efforts towards defining a methodology for energy measurements per product group.
• Drive and coordinate efforts towards implementation of eco-design criteria's in product development process.
• Participate in working groups towards standardization for energy measurements and carbon footprint declaration.
• Represent Atlas Copco Tools in European projects for environmental footprint with other companies and leading institutes in the area.
• Monitor the development of eco-design in industry and legal area.
• Be support to operations within area of the development of products and services with a life cycle perspective.
• Participate in projects with R&D and marketing and be main contact to research institutes and consultants in the area of expertise.
The ECO Design Specialist will be part of the R&D team in Nacka (Sweden).
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
• Masters degree in engineering and at least a few years of professional experience, preferable in the field of mechanical design.
• Driving and optimistic personality
• A genuine interest for environment and ECO-design.
• Good English skills, both written and verbal.
• Good Swedish skills, both written and verbal.
• Cooperative, reliable and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel
