Global Regulatory Affairs, Patient Safety and Quality Assurance (GRAPSQA) within AstraZeneca are focused on making a meaningful difference to patient health through the development, quality assurance, registration, safety surveillance and risk minimization of our medicines across their life-cycle.
The Cardiovascular Safety Center of Excellence (CVS CoE), is a function within the Patient Safety Center of Excellence in GRAPSQA that focuses on solving complex Cardio Vascular Safety issues across the therapeutic areas. An important part of the CVS CoE is the ECG Core Laboratory, AZ ECG Centre, where the current job is placed.
We strive for scientific, technical and operational excellence in study design, when electrocardiograms (ECGs) are collected, ECG analysis and interpretation using state-of-the-art, in-house developed tools and software.
We are now looking for an ECG Scientific Advisor or a Senior ECG Scientific Advisor to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden.
As ECG Scientific Advisor, you will play a key role in evaluation of digital ECGs in clinical studies, provide scientific and operational input to clinical study protocols and take part in activities pertaining further improvement of software, tools and processes in the unit.
Minimum Requirements for the role:
* Registered nurse or biomedical analyst (BMA),
* Minimum 5 years of working experience in a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, Arrhythmia unit, Clinical Physiology or Cardiac Electrophysiology lab
* Competence in ECG analysis and interpretation
* Excellent PC skills
* Strong communication skills (Swedish and English)
* Minimum 5 years in an ECG Core Laboratory (senior role)
Skills and Capabilities:
* Experience with cardiac digital systems and devices
* Focused, Task-oriented, works independently
* Teamwork and collaboration skills
* Service minded and customer focused
* Experience in training and mentoring
* Project management (senior role)
