The International School of Helsingborg has provided a truly international education at the Primary and Secondary levels since 1995. Today, we have approximately 850 students between 2 and 19 years of age, across all programmes. We are an IB Continuum school, delivering the International Baccalaureate curriculum for all program levels. English is the primary language of learning at the school.

As an early years class teacher, your role will be to plan, organize, and carry out lessons for the students, ages 3-5 in the early years programme. You will have the overall responsibility for the pastoral care of the students and close contact with the parents. You will work closely with the other teachers in our school following the philosophy of the IB education. You will be expected to interact with the students in a caring, positive manner, and be professional and flexible, towards colleagues and the greater school community.
We are looking for someone who works well in a team. You are positive, open minded and flexible. When working with the students, you are consistent and kind. You take the time to get to know the students and build relationships with them, supporting skill-based learning.
Qualifications
A degree or certificate within early years and/or in primary education is required.
The successful candidate will have at least two years' experience working with groups of kids in the ages 3-5, including working with children with various support needs.
The primary language of the school is English. Therefore, it is critical and required that any candidates are able to read, write and speak in English fluently.
Priority will be given to candidates who are also fluent in Swedish.
