Volvo Group Telematics (VGT) provides telematics services to the Volvo Group, and to external customers in the Automotive Car OEM segment through the WirelessCar brand.
We enable & accelerate customer-oriented off-board telematics service development & delivery. Our solutions exist in Volvo Group products and in other products in the automotive industry in Europe, Asia, US and South America.
End-to-End Platform Operations
The department End to End Platform Operations is part of Platform Delivery & Operations at VGT. The objectives of the End to End Platform Operations department are functional ownership of several telematics functions, lead E2E testing in projects, perform proactive runtime monitoring for continuous improvements and configuration / delivery management of the Telematics Integration Service Platform (TISP).
We are now looking for E2E Test Managers.
Role
The mission of the test manager is to lead, develop and drive the test strategy & plan for VGT within projects. Further to perform system test before and after new deploys of TISP. In some cases also to contribute in proactive runtime monitoring.
Key responsibilities
• Lead, develop and drive the test strategy & test plan for VGT within projects and maintenance cross functional.
• Initiate and follow-up fault reports including re-testing etc.
• Perform system tests during releases of TISP.

Wanted Profile
An End2End test manager needs to be social, flexible and like working in teams. You like to lead a test team in projects/maintenance cross functional commodities and take responsibility for the test plan including user acceptance tests. You like to perform hands-on tests. Your direction is that quality comes first and you could rank the bug reports from a total offering and risk perspective.
An End2End test manager has a strong customer focus and a natural, service minded attitude. In the working situation the End2End test manager likes taking responsibility, act with integrity with a result oriented mindset.
Required Competencies
• An university degree (engineering)
• Experience from End2End testing or similar
• Good understanding on total offering impact versus test results
• Good domain knowledge of OEM connected service offering, telematics, transport industry and end-customer processes
• Knowledge in embedded software development and back office application development
• Good communicator and presentation skills
• Ability to establish and maintain good relations with customers and partners
• Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
