Volvo Group Telematics (VGT) provides telematics services to the Volvo Group, and to external customers in the Automotive Car OEM segment through the WirelessCar brand.
We enable & accelerate customer-oriented off-board telematics service development & delivery. Our solutions exist in Volvo Group products and in other products in the automotive industry in Europe, Asia, US and South America.
End-to-End Integration & Verification
The department End to End Integration and Verification department (DE63250) is part of Technology at VGT. The objectives of the End to End Integration and Verification department are functional ownership of several telematics functions, lead E2E testing in projects, perform proactive runtime monitoring for continuous improvements and configuration / delivery management of the Telematics Integration Service Platform.
We are now looking for E2E Functional owners.
Role
The mission of the functional owner is to lead, develop and drive the strategy & plan for VGT within his/her function(s) of telematics services. The service area in question will be within both Fleet and Uptime related services.
Key responsibilities
• Coaching and support to domain teams and other stakeholders with functional area knowledge during pre-studies and development.
• Functional owner of E2E functions
• Lead, develop and drive the strategy & plan for VGT within the area.
• Drive meetings with VGT's Delivery managers to identify and solve issues/risks and to take advantage of new possibilities within the service area as well as to drive standardization
• Monitor developments and trends (business as well as technical) within the service area

Wanted Profile
As an E2E functional owner you need to be social, flexible and like working in teams and have a critical eye and dare to question requirements and solutions with an objective and business-minded attitude.
You also have a strong customer focus and a natural, service minded attitude. In the working situation the E2E functional owner likes taking responsibility, act with integrity with a result oriented mindset.
Required Competencies
• A university degree (engineering and/or economics)
• Experience from product/service and partner management
• Extensive domain knowledge of OEM connected service offering, telematics, transport industry and end-customer processes
• Business analyst with a strategic mindset
• Knowledge in embedded software development and offboard application development
• Good presentation skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain good relations with customers and partners
• Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
