E-Drive Control Engineer
• As a Control Engineer you will be responsible for the development, implementation and test of software functionality for motor control applications in line with automotive process (e.g. ASPICE).
* Build up simulation environments for SW verification (MIL,SIL Test) using for example MATLAB / Simulink.
* Ensuring the software components are fully documented and validated. (e.g. by reviews, releases of technical reports and other technical documentation)
* Provide technical expertise within the motor control area.
* Management, development, and expansion of specialist technical know-how
* Be willing and open to develop competences within control knowledge of other power electronics components like DC/DC or OBC.
* Comprehensive work with the customer including:
* Technical authority and decision-maker on assigned projects within his field of responsibility
* Derive stakeholder requirements into technical requirements
* Ensure the quality of work according to the relevant guidelines and automotive processes
* Supports business development by providing expertise as well as supporting the acquisition process of project proposals, including follow-up projects and/or project extensions
• Degree in Electronics/Electrical engineering or extensive experience in control software development.
* 3-5 years automotive experience in design/implementation of motor control algorithms.
* Knowledge and experience in design/implementation of motor control techniques - E.g. Field Oriented Control, Direct Torque Control
* Experience in the control of permanent magnet synchronous machines and/or induction machines
* Experience in functional development using for example MATLAB / Simulink.
* Strong problem-solving and analysis skills, with the ability to understand and debug complex software components
* Additional benefits to be considered:
* Knowledge of additional programming language (e.g. C, C++)
* Knowledge about ISO26262
* Knowledge, about PWM generation techniques
* Knowledge about MCU and Gate Drivers Controllers, etc.
* General knowledge about inverter HW components (filters, power stage modules, gate drivers)
* Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (includes on-site presentations at customers, Swedish is meritorious)
* Team- and network builder
* Self-directed, systematic, and structured approach to work
* High level of integrity and responsibility
* B category Driving license
