All about the role:
As the Platform Lead for the e-commerce engine within the Digital Commerce Domain at CDI XO, responsible for the European and APAEC consumer Engineering team, your role will be pivotal in spearheading the establishment and decision-making processes related to e-commerce architecture.
Your responsibilities include crafting intricate designs, architecture, and process documentation, as well as implementing scalable SAP CCv2 solutions on a global scale. Operating within a scaled agile product teams framework, you will play a crucial role in supporting Product and Engineer Managers through tasks such as backlog refinement and prioritization.
Together with our Engineering team, you will drive transformation in a complex IT delivery landscape, consulting with Delivery Leads, Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers and Engineering Managers among other stakeholders to enable successful continuous delivery in both Agile and traditional project management way. You will work, on daily basis, with colleagues remotely that are based in other countries.

What you'll do:
As an e-commerce engine Platform Lead, you who have solid hands-on implementation and consulting experience in e-commerce solutions will be responsible for optimizing and integrating business processes in Digital commerce operations using the SAP Commerce Cloud platform and other E-commerce platforms. You will be focused on designing and building scalable solutions using your expertise in SAP CCv2 integrated using Cloud native microservices-based design. Your main tasks include:
• Lead the design, and maintenance of the organization's platform or technology infrastructure.
• Define the technical architecture of the platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Create a technical strategy aligned with the product vision and outline the implementation of best practices.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to make informed decisions regarding platform development.
• Oversee the architectural connections and roadmap coordination with platform providers and implementation partners, offering guidance to development teams in the process.
• Enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.
• Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and stability of the platform.
• Manage the deployment of platform updates, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Implement and enforce security measures to protect the platform and user data.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of the platform architecture, codebase, and processes.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the team to explore new technologies and methodologies to enhance the platform.
Who you are:
• University graduate in Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business or related areas.
• 8+ years of experience as a functional lead in Service Cloud as well as Sales Cloud in large transformation projects.
• Hands-on implementation experience of SAP Commerce Cloud with other SAP applications like SAP ERP.
• Knowledge in ABSL, UI Script, and UI designer in Cloud Applications Studio (SDK) to develop and deploy complex C4C solutions.
• Have an in-depth understanding of REST, SOAP API Web services & standard OData API's in C4C.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and test automation of CRM modules.
• You have very good analytical and conceptual skills paired with a pronounced ability to structure to simplify complex relationships.
• Experience working alongside Cloud platforms like Azure, Power Platform is a big plus.
