About the role
Synoptik Sweden is undergoing an intensive digitalization phase with an increasing focus on omnichannel. Today, we have a network of nearly 150 Synoptik stores across Sweden and, for several years, a growing digital business. This expansion is part of our ambition to reach a broader customer base and fulfill our vision of becoming Sweden's most recommended optical chain.
Your work will consist of driving and developing digital and e-commerce with a focus on both e-commerce conversion and bookings for eye examinations, as well as optimizing and continuously improving the customer journey. You will be part of the Scandinavian Omnichannel team, which currently consists of 6 people. You will also collaborate daily with our Scandinavian and global digital teams.
Main responsbilities
As E-commerce Manager, you take full responsibility for the digital business for Synoptik Sweden. This includes overall responsibility for e-commerce operations, conversion optimization for both online purchases and eye-exam bookings, and the entire user experience on synoptik.se. In this role, you are expected to stay alert and proactively propose improvement initiatives. This requires sharp business acumen and strong project-management skills.
You will work closely day-to-day with your colleagues in the Swedish marketing team, the digital development team on EssilorLuxottica, and your Scandinavian colleagues.
Your main areas of work include:
Overall performance responsible of driving people to our stores from online (eye exams).
Responsible for the P&L of e-commerce in Sweden, driving online sales toward set sales and profit targets
Responsible for annual budget, planning, and implementation including daily follow-up
Responsible for total traffic, conversion to e-commerce purchases and booking conversion, as well as perceived usability of the site as a whole
Creating and owning forecasts, as well as follow-up and reporting of relevant KPIs.
Coordinating, leading, and setting requirements for our in-house agency for performance marketing.
Set requirements toward the global digital development team in collaboration with your local and Scandinavian stakeholders.
Leading and setting requirements for SEO roadmap in collaboration with local teams and agency.
Responsible of campaign planning and follow up.
Continuously analyzing digital/e-commerce efficiency and optimizing campaign mechanics, marketing investments, costs, and processes.
Your profile
Bachelor's degree within marketing, business, digital or related field.
You have 5-6 years of experience in a similar B2C e-commerce sales and operations role; experience within retail/omnichannel is a strong plus.
You have solid experience in traffic-driving activities, UX, and conversion rate optimization.
You have an analytical and structured working style and are motivated by working data-driven and KPI-driven to identify new business opportunities.
You have good knowledge of e-commerce technology, platforms, CMS, integrations, Google's tools and an interest in how technology can drive sales.
You work fluently in both Swedish and English and are a confident communicator in both languages. Experience from working in international organizations is a major advantage.
You are team-oriented and enjoy achieving results together with others, while also being self-driven and confident working independently.

The position is a temporary cover until august 2026, with start as soon as possible - one of our great colleagues is going for paternity leave. Your workplace is located at Synoptik's service office in premises with excellent transport connections next to Kista Galleria. We apply a hybrid office model, where you can work 2 days from home per week. At Synoptik, we follow the collective agreements at Unionen.
