At Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, we're looking for a structured and collaborative e-Commerce Architect for our IT Service Delivery team, working towards sales and marketing functions. We're building an in-house team with the best competence and a genuine passion to deliver successful solutions, and we want you onboard!
Your mission
As e-Commerce Architect you develop our e-business solutions towards our customers globally - working closely with our business product owner and IT development teams to design, plan, and implement improvements and projects related to our offering. You ensure that the application architecture meets the true business needs and complies with architectural strategies and standards. Working towards many different business domains, such as sales, marketing, finance, and logistics, you ensure that our business requirements and strategies are successfully translated into new solutions. With a mission to ensure that changes are developed in a cost effective and sustainable way, you provide guidance and direction for developers and suppliers, and you contribute in aligning application architecture with solution and enterprise architecture.
You report to the IT Operations Manager for Sales and Marketing at Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions IT and work as the point of contact for other IT deliveries - frequently discussing solution outlines with other architects. The location for this position is either Tampere (FI), Stockholm (SE) or Sandviken (SE).
Your character
We're looking for someone with insight into building well-architected customer facing cloud applications on the Azure platform. You have previously worked with cloud building blocks (Azure or AWS) and know for example what vertical and horizontal scaling means. Likewise, you're familiar with some or all the e-commerce building blocks, such as PIM and EDI. Ideally, you have experience working in a global organization with many stakeholders, both in IT and business. Technical know-how is a must and you also need experience of exposure to business. Understanding key processes in the e-commerce and e-business space is highly valued and preferably, you also have a background in the manufacturing industry. As we operate in a global setting, excellent written and verbal skills in English are required.

You have good teamworking skills and are eager to learn new things, as well as mentor others. By being perceptive and sympathetic, you easily create a trusting environment for collaboration.
