We have seen an increased activity in contact with customers and dealers through the internet, and want to develop and expand the e-commerce portfolio. This includes different kinds of business activities such as information, interaction and commercial transactions.
We are now looking for an e-Business Manager who will lead the challenging work of developing our e-business solution. The role has a clear commercial and business focus and concentrates on providing systems, processes and solutions to facilitate an ever growing e-commerce. The position will serve and lead all customer segments as well as all regions and all types of end users and dealers. In this new position you will report to the Sales Support Manager.
Key performance areas
Your responsibilities are primarily to:
• Create and develop a new arena for business and business cooperation with customers through the internet.
• Generate increased business and profit, by simplifying and shortening the order-to-delivery process between Sandvik Mining and Construction and our customers/dealers through e-commerce. Monitoring and steering of the business is also a key to this role.
• Identify and understand needs and trends for e-business and as a result transfer this into e-business solutions, adding value to both parties.
Your profile
The person we are looking for will work in an international environment involving our customer segments, the regions and all types of end users and dealers. This requires a practical and result oriented team player who is able to transform commercial needs to a web based platform solution.
Since the position has a clear business focus we want a person who has a mix of both commercial attitude and internet interest. The job is sales and marketing related and therefore does not cover technical programming. We require a sales, marketing or business background and a good understanding of the various sales channels of the business. E-business experience or management experience from sales or marketing is an advantage for the position.
It is a prerequisite that you are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
