Koenigsegg is now looking for new engineers to join our pursuit of ultimate (electrical) performance! If you are well versed in battery technology and want to be part of creating cutting-edge high voltage batteries, the role as E/E Engineer High Voltage might just be for you.

As an E/E Engineer, you will take ownership of certain High Voltage components and utilize your area of expertise to act as an interface between your own team and internal or external stakeholders. Cross-functional collaboration is one of the most vital factors for success in this highly dynamic working environment.

Main responsibilities

- Supporting design, test and validation activities on the power distribution unit of the High-Voltage battery pack.
- Supporting prototyping, integration and troubleshooting activities of the High-Voltage components
- Organize and carry out tests to verify component functions and requirements.

This role is located at our main production facility in Ängelholm Sweden, and you will be reporting directly to the High-Voltage & Battery team lead.
About you

In order to be successful in this role, you need to have fundamental knowledge on the behavior and safety aspects of li-ion cells as well as on high voltage systems. You should also have an academical background within electrical engineering and some years of working experience, preferably within the automotive industry. The following qualifications are also required for this role:

Minimum qualifications:

- Knowledge on functions of li-ion battery packs / battery management systems
- Design experience on power distribution units: architecture, component sizing and selection, test & validation
- Hands-on experience with battery and high-voltage testing equipment
- Very good understanding of high voltage safety
- Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Fundamental understanding of EMC/EMI

Meritorious qualifications:

- Automotive or motorsports background
- Experience with battery management system hardware implementation
- Experience on battery management system development
- Familiarity with high voltage systems and safe working practices.
