Role Summary/Purpose
In this role you are part of the Nordic IT team and will support business functions with DWH/BI expertise regarding all reporting and business data.
Essential Responsibilities
Deliver Changes in Datawarehouse and all of their applications
Do improvements on DWH and Business intelligence applications.
To be a resource in projects that affects DWH.
Gather and clarify requirement specifications, and design on new suggestions from business.
Act as 3:rd line support, debug errors and provide solutions.
Assist our consultants with expert knowledge regarding processes, source-systems and related DWH-tables.
Be able to in SQL, create ad-hoc queries/reports ordered by business.
Support developers during CR-process.
Test new applications or logic provided by developers and verify that they are according to requirements.
Participate in meetings as BI / DWH specialist.
Monitor DWH daily jobs.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor
Experience of BI/DWH maintenance and design, preferably been involved in design of one or more large, complex DW environments
Experience of ETL development and data modelling, preferably on several platforms and with different tools
Experience of Informatica Power Center, Business Objects, Oracle databases and/or SAS is beneficial
Experience of CRM and Risk systems is beneficial
Office Applications like MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Access
Change Management Tools
Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma
SQL Server competence required
Development in an Object oriented language beneficial
Knowledge of local business processes
Knowledge of project management tools beneficial
Work permit in Sweden
Desired Characteristics
In depth understanding of the business processes is beneficial.
In depth understanding of IT in GE is beneficial.
Good communication skills.
Have the ability to work under pressure.
