hela Sverige We are looking for a Due Diligence Officer to join our team that works with Responsible Sourcing. This will be a short term, temporary employment until end of December 2022, with a potential opportunity for a long term permanent employment in the future.

We in Sourcing at Telia Company are the sourcing experts and responsible for Category Strategy, Contracting, Supplier Management and Supplier Risks. We are aiming to be a trusted, efficient and integrated part of the business, engaged at all levels in the company. In Telia Sourcing, you find our team specialized on supplier risks and sustainability. A team that consist of Due Diligence Officers and Auditors that effectively work together for a reduced supplier risk and an increased sustainability awareness across our supplier base.
Responsible Sourcing is a business-critical activity and committed to corporate responsibility to build solid, long-term relationships with suppliers. Participating parties are equally accountable for the ethical, social, environmental and financial impact during the trading of goods or services.
Your new team and position
As a Due Diligence Officer, you will conduct research on Telia Company's third parties, primarily focused on suppliers, but also on partners and customers, and their key personnel using a combination of publicly-available and database sources. The role includes a combination of research on companies, people, industries, and analysis of facts which relate to unethical and non-compliant practices. Searching the web, media and databases and then verifying and analyzing that information before including it in our Due Diligence reports is part of the basic tasks.
As your experience and career grows within the team, you will become a subject matter expert in at least one areas of our primary focus, i.e. Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Human and Labor Rights, Environmental Issues, Sanctions, etc.
Is this you?
This role is ideal for a person who feels comfortable researching complex topics and has great writing and analysis skills, including the ability to summarize the findings clearly and concisely into executive level reports. You are also interested in at least a few Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.
Your personal competencies and experience:
University degree level in Social Studies, Humanities, Law or Economics
Good research skills, including online search tools
Great writing and analysis skills in English
Other language skills would be a great advantage
Great organization, prioritization and communication skills
Be a team-oriented person with a high level of initiative and proactive approach to work
High level of integrity in combination with a genuine wish to contribute to make a difference
Fresh graduates and those with 1-3 years' professional experience are welcome to apply
