Good credit management is essential to an organisation's healthy cash flow, and we are now looking to hire an experienced Credit Controller to expertly manage and collect receivables from company debtors.
Together with colleagues in the credit department, you will be responsible for evaluating new credit requests, analyzing credit limits of existing customers, ensuring timely payments of company receivables, and providing administrative support.To ensure success as a credit controller, you should have a good eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to reconcile complex company accounts. As a top-class Credit Controller in our Credit & Collection department you have critical role in maximizing the company profits by efficiently managing its receivables.
Your detailed responsibilities:
• Credit risk analyses of new and existing customers according to DSV Credit Policy
• Credit limit reviews and proposal of payment terms
• Manage proactively reminders and account statements
• Collection of overdue receivables incl. liaise with external collection and legal agencies
• Preparing various analysis and month-end reporting
• Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team
Credit Controller Requirements:
We imagine that you have relevant experience from previous positions as a Credit Controller or equivalent. Your qualifications will include:
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• Competency with large ERP systems and MS Office (in particular MS Excel)
• Good understanding of credit risk management and legal complexity of payment plans
• Ability to reconcile complex debtor accounts and manage complex payment process flow
• High energy, a can-do attitude, stamina as well as strong intellectual and inter-personal capabilities
• Strong communication skills and in addition to fluent Swedish is preferable if you are business fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
