Xspray has a patented technology to increase the bioavailability of drug substances. The responsibilities and tasks will vary depending on your seniority and expertise, but can include drug formulation development, process optimisation, engineering and process mechanics, e.g:
• Small to pilot scale production of drug product intermediate; amorphous solid dispersion. This includes preformulation, preparing solvents as well as preparing equipment, process optimisation, running and monitoring the supercritical fluid technology.
• Analysis of finished product with e.g. microscopy and chromatography
• Contribute to the continuous development of the technical / chemical processes
• Regular contacts with external large-scale manufacturer and overnight visits to European and US partners.
• Lead projects or part of projects within e.g. development and supply.
You will work in a small team where your contribution and ideas will have a real impact. Xspray is in rapid development, and so can you be!

Terms: Open-ended, full-time with Xspray as employer.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Knowledge about manufacturing processes, e.g. pilot scale API production, biochemical production, formulation, chemistry.
• Experience from working with technical problem-solving, eg. as process technician / engineer, scientist, service technician, investigator or similar
• Work experience from pharma, biotech, medical device or similar production environments.
Meriting:
• Post-graduate education within science, engineering, pharma or corresponding knowledge about chemistry from work.
• Experience from documenting your work according to quality regulations, e.g. GMP, ISO 13485
• Good written and spoken Swedish
Xspray uses advanced technology to develop improved and generic versions of already marketed drugs. Xspray employs a patent-protected technology platform in order to create a pipeline of anti-cancer products with clinically relevant improvements or value enhanced generic versions for patients. Xspray primarly develops protein kinase inhibitors (PKI) for targeted cancer treatments. PKI's are the second largest segment within cancer drugs.
A recent directed share issue successfully secured additional funding, adding a group of Swedish and international institutional investors, among others Unionen, Third Swedish National Pension Fund and Forth Swedish National Pension Fund
