As a Driver Interface Features Leader, you will be working for our client within the automotive industry. You will be a part of the Ergonomics and Driver Interface group that meet the customers and break down their needs and expectations to measurable requirements. Using new technology possibilities, they strive the give their customers a vehicle that surpasses their expectations.
The main objective for a Driver Interface Leader is to understand the customers, their way of working and needs in daily work connected to Human Machine Interface (HMI). You will meet end customers in interviews, test and validations. Work together with rest of Driver Interface team to secure one common HMI. You will share your requirements and expertise across departments inside Volvo and together with cross-functional agile teams work to find the best solutions.
About you
We are looking for a person with a degree from Technical Design or equivalent with documented experience on at least 3 years for UX development/Interface design. You have a good technical writing and presentation skills and are fluent in English, both written and spoken. It 's beneficial if you have an understanding of software development workflow and process, if you have worked in Agile Teams or Safe and if you have worked within the automotive industry before.
