hela Sverige You will be part of Ports in Västerås. ABB's business for ports assists shipping companies to transfer containers in a reliable, quick and cost efficient way. Ports is specialized in advanced automation and information systems for motion control of all types of container cranes. We are the leading supplier of crane systems and are active worldwide. In the large terminal automation projects we deliver electric and automation systems for 50 to 100 cranes, to the major container ports in Europe, Asia and North America.
In a modern container terminal there are remotely controlled Ship-To-Shore cranes, which handle the loading/off-loading of the container ships. These are in the storage yard supported by stacking cranes, robotized cranes weighing hundreds of tons, which automatically move and with high precision stack the containers. The operation of all the cranes is controlled from a central control room in order to optimize the productivity of the terminal.
Tasks
Do you enjoy a sales role with a wide range of interesting technology and long-term relationships? Then join the department of port service. You will be working in a small team that drives service sales, coordinates service orders and performs life cycle analysis of crane equipment. You will be responsible for several and often unique cases that are streamlined to different customers worldwide. Your main areas of responsibilities will be to manage customer inquiries and create tenders. Other assignments will include to assign and lead engineering deliverables. You will have close contact with our customers as you keep them updated throughout ongoing service orders and inquiries. This role will give you a great platform for further growth within ABB. Especially if you have your mind set on a career within international sales.
Requirements
You have a high school diploma and preferably one year's experience from a similar position. It is important that you are fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken alike. Excellent skills in SAP and Excel are also required, whereas knowledge in relevant terms and conditions, such as Incoterms or general payment terms, is qualifying. Experience from the crane industry is also advantageous.
On a personal level, you enjoy multitasking in a high-paced and international work environment. As you will seize a central role - daily interaction with internal as well as external contacts stimulates you. In fact, your collaboration and communicational skills are one of your greatest professional strengths. Your structured work methods, drive and openness to new ideas are other examples of vital qualities.
