Vi söker en Business controller till Birdstep
Birdstep Technology is a global software company in the telecom and mobile communication. The company has 65 employees and is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange (OSE), with development centers in Sweden, USA and Finland. Birdstep has customer base of more than 35 mobile operators and device manufacturers around the world. Several high profiled operators have selected Birdstep as their vendor and we are proud to serve some of the most aggressive players in the market.
Birdstep Technology is now looking for a flexible and detail oriented person for the position as Business Controller of the Birdstep Group.
The position Group
This position will be based in Stockholm were you will be a member of the Finance team and work closely with the company's CFO and Accounting Manager.
As a Business Controller in Birdstep your main responsibilities will be:
Coordinate budget process and prepares the budget.
Prepare monthly/quarterly and annual management reports (Departmental Cost, Profit & Loss and Working Capital)
Plan, analyze and control Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
Drive efficiencies and system improvements
Work with local management to improve financial performance
Work closely with sales in support of sales projections
Track license activation trends
Responsible of Accounts Receivables
Participate in the process of yearly statutory audits with External Auditors
Qualifications, experience and personal strengths:
You have good theoretical knowledge through a university degree in Finance/Accounting, supplemented with proven experience in a similar role for a minimum of 3 years.
You have good system experience and good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
You are fluent in Swedish and English both written and spoken. English is the corporate language that is used daily.
In addition to your previous knowledge and experience, we place great emphasis on your personal characteristics. As a person you are self-driven and used to taking your own initiatives. You work proactive, responsible and structured and have a proven ability to meet deadlines. Since the role involves much contact you are communicative and skilled at building relationships. You are comfortable with working autonomously as well as part of a team and have the ability to independently see what needs to be done, prioritize, focus, act to solve the problems and not be afraid to pitch in where needed.
