Do you want to be part of developing and leading us in to the next generation of AWD systems? We are currently looking for a Driveline System Engineer.
Role Description
In this role you will need to have the ability to take full system responsibility for our automotive driveline products regarding functionality, system behaviour and fulfilment of customer specifications and industry standards. You will use your broad technical knowledge over the fields of automatic controls, software and electronics and also to some extent mechanics. This role will also work in close cooperation with other Product Development departments. You will support cost reductions and product improvements of currently-produced driveline products. In this role you will also participate in specification and troubleshooting of production end-of-line rigs for our products, and also support customer and GKN vehicle validations for development as well as troubleshooting.
Qualifications / Experience / Skills
• MSc in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, Vehicle Engineering or related field of study with relevant experience from preferably the automotive industry.
• Experience from embedded systems development including surrounding sensors and actuators is preferable.
• Experience from the Matlab/Simulink environment together with dSpace (microAutoBoX) hardware is preferable.
• Experience from industry standards like ISO26262 preferable.
• Knowledge of vehicle dynamics is considered an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good social skills, the ability to create effective networks and work in teams or independently.
• Results-driven with the ability to handle multiple work tasks in an structured way.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal. German language skill is a plus.
• A flexible and adaptable attitude.
• Domestic and international travel is required.
