Volvo Penta designs, builds and delivers complex power solutions to OEM customers around the world. The nature of our products require a robust way of handling product data end-to-end across our processes and IT solutions. As we are growing and electrifying our power solutions, we see a need to become even better at managing our core data, end-to-end.
We are now looking for a domain data architect for the product data domain that can strengthen our ability to
Secure that our product data is designed to work end-to-end, with a core focus on data for product compliance, certification purposes and post-sales usage
Improve traceability and quality of product data that is managed within the supply chain
Design the flow of product data to be used in each process step, inside and across the different IT solutions
Identify opportunities, and propose actions and design changes for capturing relevant data and improving product data quality
To succeed in this mission, we believe you have good a technical understanding of data design and data processing, an interest in developing organizational capabilities through data and good networking skills.
You will be working with a strong team of business stakeholders, IT experts and domain data architects from different parts of the Volvo Penta organization, covering product design, manufacturing and product supply.
Your background
We believe you have hands-on experience with IT development, data and systems design and -architecture. You are proficient in data modelling and have a good understanding of systems integration. You likely have experience from a high complexity business and IT environment. We believe an analytical & quality mindset and liking to work with problem solving in teams will be an asset. You enjoy communicating with different stakeholders and have an ability to explain complex topics for different audiences.
You will be located in Volvo Penta headquarters in Lundby, Gothenburg and be a part of the Order & delivery platforms team in Volvo Penta Digital & IT.
