In product safety, accurate, transparent, and efficient documentation is a critical part of the work, be it for regulatory purposes or to fulfil the high expectations of our consumers, customers, and other stakeholders.
For our team "Regulatory Affairs & Product Safety/ General Product Safety", we are seeking a colleague who will own the documentation of product safety-relevant data and documents for our global absorbent hygiene product range. The role will closely collaborate with the product safety specialists.

What You Will Do
• Compiling and collating product safety assessment-relevant data and documents from external and internal sources, e.g. suppliers, test institutes, procurement, R&D
• Uploading and structuring relevant data and documents into SAP/PLM or other systems, as applicable
• Being accountable for the formal correctness of the documentation
• Continuously improving data and document management for product safety
• Assisting with the collection and reporting of relevant documentation for internal and external stakeholders, both nationally and internationally
• Establishing and maintaining a product safety approval overview
• Assisting in Document Control & Change Control activities
• Supporting the product safety specialists in all questions regarding data and document management
• Being an expert user for product safety data and document management in digital systems.
Who You Are
You have a relevant degree (scientific and/or administrative) and/or professional experience with SAP/PLM-based document and data management with sound application knowledge of the underlying software system. The right candidate should preferably have experience with or affinity to chemical and toxicological content and you find your purpose in being part of a passionate product safety team
While the functional competencies are a prerequisite to fit the role, we more so put great value in your personal traits. To be successful at Essity and in this role you are accurate and reliable, at the same time willing to learn and continuously improve the processes and systems in which you are working. You are a good communicator, with high sense of collaboration. As you will come across a wide range of people at different levels in the organization, it is essential to have the ability to create and maintain relationships with colleagues.
You are a self-leading person who takes responsibility for your tasks and you get motivated by starting projects and taking initiatives. It is an advantage to have the ability to navigate in a high pace complex matrix organization as this will be your daily work environment, where changes are frequently occurrent. Since Essity is an international company, the role requires you to have both verbal and written skills in English.
Furthermore, you are a team player and you complement with your strengths in systems and applications (incl. MS Office applications) the expert skills of our product safety assessors.
