hela Sverige Autonomous Transport Solutions (ATS) Pre-Development & Research is responsible for developing, testing and piloting future frontier ATS concepts. This work is done using agile and self-steered teams with the ambition to detect and evaluate upcoming technologies, and prepare these for industrialisation.
One of the teams within the department, On-board Platform & Simulations, has the strategic and operational responsibility for developing the next generation of vehicle architecture related to the ATS environment. This includes design and test of the complete on-board platform, and creating simulations of sensors-, software- and hardware interactions.

Your work duties
This position is located in Södertälje and you will be a part of an agile development team. As Development Engineer for ATS On-board platform, your responsibility will vary depending on the current development needs. It will include software development, evaluation and testing of new hardware on prototype vehicles, basic design of electrical installation, coordination of internal/external development teams and evaluation of new potential technologies.
Your profile
You have good knowledge in written and spoken English. International experience and cultural awareness is considered an advantage. You will have extensive contacts internally and externally, it is therefore crucial that you have a positive mindset, and are a terrific team player. You have an academic engineering degree (B.Sc., M.Sc. and/or Phd) and experience from high-tech development projects.
In addition, the position requires experience in software development (e.g. C++), build environments, platform architecture and working with Linux systems. Driving license for truck and/or bus is a plus, and it is an advantage if you are not afraid of hands-on installations.
